The User acknowledges that the Services are not treatment plans for mental health conditions for Referred Clients.
The User acknowledges that the Services may include an analysis of some matters which only incidentally relate to the
Referred Client’s condition(s), such as past conditions and life history generally.
The User acknowledges that the Practitioner(s) may provide an opinion in the associated report which may not be
favourable to a Referred Client’s claim(s), but is an expert opinion based on the result of the examination(s). Neither the
Practitioner or Medilinks take any responsibility for the outcome of the report having a negative effect on payments a
Referred Client has received or may receive from DVA whether the report is an initial claim for a condition or a claim for
clinical worsening of a condition.
The User acknowledges that reports produced by at least in part on the basis of answers given to Practitioners in the relevant
examinations and that if inaccurate or partial answers are given the report by the Practitioner may be inaccurate.
The User acknowledges that Medilinks will own the copyright in the report prepared by the Practitioner and will not provide
the User or Referred Clients with a copy of the report.
The User acknowledges that the Practitioner is not a legal practitioner and the preparation of the report is provided
independently from Referred Client’s claims to DVA. The Practitioner will not be able to provide any advice or opinion on
a Referred Client’s claim and therefore will not respond to any request for their opinion about the potential success or
failure of a claim to DVA.
The User acknowledges that all Referred Clients must sign an Informed Consent prior to engaging Medilinks for the Services.
